v0.0.0d - Weather Station First Pass







I've got a bit of a bigger update this time around. I've been getting the Research, Logging and Data Collection systems refactored behind the scenes. It's all going great - but it's taking a little longer than I'd hoped, and I wanna get it right.
So, although not the big 0.0.1 update I was hoping for, the Weather Station is now in! it's mostly functional; all of the little displays and switches should be working. The bulk of the functionalitie's gonna come down the line however, when Data Logging gets introduced with 0.0.1.

- Headline Feature - as above - Weather Stations! Take them wherever you want, place them and get readings about the local environment. Check Wind Heading, Speeds, Temperature. Lots of clicky buttons.A good first look, but expect more over the coming updates.
- Overhauled cargo placement. You now place cargo depending on where you're looking in the world (rather than directly in front of the player character). We now also get a "ghost" outline of the object we're building. This should help to make sure we're not placing anything at funny angles when on a slope. You can also now press R to rotate during placement.
- Fixed up an issue where we would stop being able to move once we run out of calories - even though death is disabled for now in the demo 😅
- Improved how the star generation works - making it more efficient mostly.
- Created a system for placing orbital objects in the night sky.
- Improved the look of the Lamp object.
- Made the footsteps a little louder.
- General bugfixes and improvements.
Next - Data Logging

Like I mentioned in the intro, I've been split pretty 50/50 between working on the Weather Station, and it's Data Logging counterpart. Although it's fun to have a bit of a play around with the Weather Station as it is, it's real purpose is lost without being able to log it's readings.
Throughout the day, month, and year, we'll be able to take various readings from the environment & report them back to home base. I'm entirely focused on the Weather Station as the testbed for this, but I'm gonna expand it over time with other Datapoints and ways of processing the collected information.
I don't wanna rush myself - but I'm hoping to have it in with more to show in the next update.
